Key vote in Martell
Jan. 31 may be a historic day in Martell. We hope it will be the day that we, the people of Martell, vote to let our town board set up regulations for large CAFOs (Confined Animal Feedlot Operations).
Honor death, hope, permanence: Keep road's name
Today, driving through town, quieted by a gentle snowfall, I chanced on Cemetery Road, drove along it hoping to remember it as it was, is, but won't be in a few months.
Solution to Cemetery Road debate is simple
I wish that I had a vote on the City Council. I would propose a very simple solution to the name change question involving Cemetery Road and the new high school.
Press bias still evident

Against town zoning plan
On Jan. 31, the residents of the town of Martell will be asked to accept or reject a proposal by the Town Board to allow the town to zone.
