- Write articles according to prescribed editorial style and format standards.

Specific qualifications include:
- B.A. from 4 years college or university; or one to two years related experience and or training.
- Basic computer skills.
- Copy editing experience a plus.
- Able to communicate effectively with employees of the organization and community members.
- Able to write news stories that conform to prescribed style and format while effectively presenting information to readers.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a driving record that is insurable by the company.
