Free fan bus to UWRF women's hockey national quarterfinal
A free fan bus will be traveling to the UW-River Falls women's hockey game this Saturday, March 10, at 2 p.m., at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn.
The bus and free transportation is sponsored by the UWRF Student Senate and is available to all riders.
The Falcons and Gustavus are squaring off in an NCAA Tournament quarterfinal game with a berth in next weekend's national semifinals on the line.
The bus will depart the Karges Center at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday. The bus will also pick up fans at the Preserve Village Mall at Hwy 169 and Anderson Parkway just off I-494 at approximately 11:30 a.m. Upon arrival in St. Peter, Minn., the bus will stop at Patrick's for lunch (lunch on your own). Game time is 2 p.m.
Game tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for students. Tickets will be on sale at the door. There will be no advanced ticket sales. For more information on tickets call the Gustavus Adolphus ticket office at: 507-933-7617.
You must be signed up in advance to ride the bus, and there is a need for a minimum of 30 riders. Sign up for a free ride at the Flacon Athletics Office (123 Hagestad Hall) or the University Center from now until noon on Thursday.
The bus will return to UWRF immediately following the game. The bus will also drop fans off at the Preserve Village Mall at Hwy 169 and Anderson Parkway just off I-494.
