Lakeland, Minn., resident Bruce Platzer stuffs cash in a Salvation Army red kettle Friday, Dec. 15, during a 30-hour marathon bell-ringing drive at County Market in Hudson. Bell-ringers at the time were St. Croix County Sheriff's Office deputy Nathan Belz, his daughter Lana Belz, and SCSO investigator Dean Fayerweather. Organizers said the effort raised $77,382.
