A reach of recently restored Trimbelle River on the Mike and Suzanne Holst property taken June 21 this year after seeding and mulching the construction area.  Spring Creek tributary is flowing into the Trimbelle from the right. This area is about a mile south of Highway 10 on County Road O and is open to public fishing and river watching. More than 60 volunteers planted 350 trees Aug. 22 at Belwin Conservancy’s Lucy Winton Bell Athletic Fields. The trees were purchased using a grant from the Super Bowl LII Urban Forestry Program. Attendees and volunteers included representatives from the NFL, Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee, Minnesota Vikings, local mayors, Saint Croix Valley Athletic Association, and St. Croix Soccer Club athletes and their families.
