Carter Bannwarth, 15, of Woodbury will perform at Carnegie Hall April 30 as a member of the Camp Broadway Kids Ensemble. The East Ridge High School freshman will join 60 other kids from across the country who successfully auditioned for the performing arts day camp, which takes place over three days in New York City. According to Brad LaBodie, natural resources specialist, in 2016 Eau Galle Recreation Area had 4,986 campers and 44,716 users in the day area. LaBodie said they will be having a public meeting on April 26 at the Spring Valley Emergency Services Building at 6 p.m. for people to give their opinion on what they would like to see for the future of Eau Galle Recreation Area.
