The Barron County Sheriff’s Office identified the missing girl as 13-year-old Jayme Closs, a 5-foot-tall, 100-pound child with green eyes and blonde or strawberry-blonde hair. Authorities responded Friday afternoon to a traffic crash that temporarily closed a state highway outside New Richmond. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation said the crash was reported at 3:08 p.m. Oct. 12 on Highway 64 at County Road T.
