Lindsey Spott knew early on what she wanted to do as a career.
“I’ve always wanted to help people and, thanks to research, I found massage therapy,” the Hudson native said.
Then Spott received a massage and she became even more convinced, as she called it “helpful and healing.”
She has been a therapist for the last four years after earning her degree from St. Paul College. This week, she starts at Ellsworth Chiropractic.
“The opportunity was presented for me to work here,” she explained. “And I’ve always wanted to be on my own.”
Spott is now an independent contractor after previously being an employee in her previous work stops.
“I love working in a relaxing and healing environment,” she said. “My goal as a therapist is for my clients to walk out feeling better than they came in.” Her favorite modalities are deep tissues, trigger point therapy and pre-natal.
For now, Spott will only be at Ellsworth on Thursdays, but hopes to increase her local hours over time. She can be reached at (715) 273-4115.
