"We explored some options to expand the footprint of the practice, but the facility where we are located could not come up with a viable solution," said Brian Delgado marketing manager with Park Dental Resource Offices in Roseville.

"We have seen how the community has grown and we have added additional doctor time, and now will have the kind of rooms to accommodate the demand we have been having," he added.

"I think we did like this facility because of the visibility, ample parking, and it is across from Highway 42 and offers a lot of attributes when operating a business," Delgado said.

Park Dental, a family dental practice owned locally by the doctors, runs similar to a cooperative. Park Dental operates nearly 50 other offices in the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota.

Three dentists practice at the Rosemount location, including Dr. Brandon Ranvek, who is a shareholder who has practiced in Rosemount since 2008 and makes a home in town with his wife and family. The other two dentists are Dr. Cristina Kilburg and Dr. Christoper Unger.

When the dental office is remodeled, it will open to offer nine exam and treatment rooms versus four rooms at the current location.

"We are excited at the opportunity to be able to keep up with the patient demand, and we definitely see the opportunity to expand our hours," Delgado said.

The Park Dental team is working with a team of architects and contractors to remodel the commercial building inside and out.

"We are going to be very close to the Fairview Clinic and will be only a stone's throw away, and from a patient perspective, they can address all their healthcare needs," he added.

The Park Dental office plans for a seamless transition for its patients with plans to open the new building in December. The family practice is open at 7 a.m. and stays open until 8 p.m. a few nights a week.

Delgado said, "We will expand our hours to be open later and more nights a week, and now we are open select Saturdays and we hope long-term we will expand those times."
