RIVER FALLS - The Pierce County Economic Development Corporation in collaboration with UW Extension, Small Business Development Center and SCORE, launch "Simple Steps for Growing Your Business," the Small Business Workshop Series to empower owners of existing

small businesses to the next level.

"This five-session series kicking off on May 2 at the St. Croix Valley Business Innovation Center

will provide our small businesses tools and resources that will enable them to increase their

profitability and level of success," said Harry Miller, Chair SCORE St. Paul.

The workshops will cover managing your time and people resources, marketing your business,

growing sales, financial management, managing operations, and strategic planning/goals setting.

"Our goal is to help our community grow through helping small business owners grow and

expand their business," adds Joe Folsom, Executive Director, Pierce County Economic Development Corporation.

These workshops will be held every Thursday from 7:30-9:30 a .m. starting May 2, 2019 at

the St. Croix Valley Business Innovation Center, 1091 Sutherland Ave., River Falls. There is no charge for this workshop series. For more information and registration, visit
