The Hudson Grocery Cooperative is hosting another Monthly Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at Hudson Middle School.
The Co-op brings together local vendors offering their goods and services. The Co-op will also offer food and health-related demonstrations, a kid's craft table and door prizes. This free, family-friendly, community event is open to the public. HGC owners and non-owners are welcome to shop and learn about our local vendors.
The Co-op is also excited that local business Ciranda will be at the market. They are a Hudson-based company who supplies quality certified organic, non-GMO and fair-trade ingredients. Stop by their booth to learn about GMO's, buying local, organic and fair products and plant suppliers.
Vendors attending the April Market will include: BitMad Bakery, Klasen Apiaries, Mio Soaps, Infusion Gardens, Shady Lane Farm, Chicken Opera Farm, Young Living Essential Oils, Tea Tree & Rose, Pam Brokaw Beads, Matt Dobberstein, Grey Fox Gifts and One Hit Wonder Crochets.
The vendors will have a variety of products for sale including baked goods, eggs, honey, maple syrup, jams, jellies, relish, drink mix, pickles, steak sauce, pasture raised chicken and pork (orders), salves, creams, scrubs, face masks, baby products, soaps, candles, herbal-based body products, wool dryer balls, crochet hats, handmade blankets, handcrafted jewelry and more.
HGC currently has 573 owners and is actively seeking new owners. Ownerships are $80 for the purchase of four shares of stock in the Hudson Grocery Cooperative. HGC owners currently have reciprocity at Stillwater's River Market Community Co-op and the Whole Earth Grocery Co-op in River Falls.
Stop by the HGC table during the Monthly Markets to learn more about the Co-op. For details about the Co-op visit www.HudsonGrocery.coop or find them on Facebook.
