On Friday, April 12, 2019, Rotarians from District 5960, which covers southeast and east metro Minnesota and western Wisconsin, met at the District 5960 Conference of Clubs at Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, Minn., for their annual celebration.

Along with great breakout sessions and keynote speakers, including Patty Wetterling, clubs were recognized for their efforts in various categories based on the size of the club as part of the District's Award Program.

There were 24 pictures submitted from various district clubs in the Public Image category for mid-sized clubs. After tabulating the total votes, the River Falls Rotary Club was awarded second place for their photograph of tree planting with Rotarians and area youth.

The River Falls Rotary meets every Tuesday at 7-8 a.m. at Ezekiel Lutheran Church, 202 S. Second St., River Falls. The fourth Tuesday of the month the meeting takes place from noon to 1 p.m.. The club motto is "Enhancing opportunities for youth; creating a better world for all."
