Stock your bookshelves for a summer of reading at the Friends of the Hudson Library four-day book sale, starting Monday, April 23, at the Hudson Area Library, 700 First St.

The sale will be staffed by Friends volunteers during library hours. Funds raised at the sale support library projects and programs.

Hundreds of books, some never before seen in the store, will be offered. There will be a wide variety of genre including fiction, mystery, large-print fiction, children's, middle grade (large supply), young adult, classics, poetry, and a host of nonfiction including art, cookbooks, biographies, history, home improvement and décor, hobbies and crafts, gardening, and more. Also available will be CDs, DVDs, audio books and tote bags. All titles will be 50 percent off the stickered price and most will range from 25 cents to $1.50. Browse early for the best selection, not all books will remain available during the bag sale.

Starting Friday, April 27, until Saturday, April 28, shop the Bag Sale. Buy a brown paper sack at the circulation desk and fill it with as many items as possible for one price. Bags are priced at $5 per bag on Friday and $4 on Saturday.
