The weather is changing and now is the time to stock up on books for your fall and winter reading while time supporting the Hudson Library.
The Friends of the Hudson Library book sale will be held Monday, Sept. 24 through Saturday, Sept. 29. Friend's volunteers will staff the sale during regular business hours of the library (700 First St., Hudson). Proceeds from the sale support the programs offered by the library that help make Hudson a vibrant community and an engaging place to learn and live.
We will be offering hundreds of books, many not yet seen in the bookstore, in a wide variety of genres including fiction, mystery, children's, young adult, classics, and a large selection of non-fiction including art, cookbooks, biographies, history, travel, home décor, hobbies and crafts, and gardening. We also have CD's, DVD's, and audio books. Browse early for the best selection because starting on Wednesday, Sept. 26 all titles will be offered at a 50 percent discount with most ranging in price from 25 cents to $1.
During the sale is also your chance to become a Friends member and receive a free Hudson Library branded tote bag. Stop by our membership table for information and to learn more about volunteer opportunities offered by the Friends. You can also enter your name in our raffle drawing to win a tote bag or consider purchasing one to share your support of the library. The tote bags come in three different styles and a variety of colors and will be for sale Monday-Thursday at the check-out table.
Finally, shop the Bag Sale on Friday, Sept. 28 and Saturday, Sept. 29, where you can buy a
