Grand Symphonic Winds is performing a concert at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at the Steeple Center, 14375 S. Robert Trail, Rosemount.

The concert is free to attend and will include works by Arrieu, Markowski, Van, Sousa and Villa-Cortes. Special guests include Neoteric Wind Ensemble and Chris Kashjian on guitar.

Grand Symphonic Winds is a Twin Cities-based civic wind ensemble is known for bringing original music to a diverse audience. It strives to expand and redefine the perception of what constitutes a concert band.

During its 25-year history, it has championed new music, including dozens of unique compositions from across the globe that have rarely or never been performed in Minnesota.
