The Hudson Women's Club annual Artful Garden Tour will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 29 and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 30, rain or shine. Six beautiful local gardens will be open for pleasant self-guided tours.

All proceeds from the Garden Tour will go to support the beautiful hanging flower baskets in downtown Hudson. Hudson Home and Garden Club carefully and happily planted those baskets at Cedar Hill Greenhouse several weeks ago. The city of Hudson is responsible for hanging and maintaining them throughout the summer.

Each year a local artist is selected to create a floral painting that will be used in publicizing the Artful Garden Tour. Last year the poster was made from a painting by Edrys Heywood who was a member of Hudson Women's Club for over 60 years. She died at the age of 101 in 2017.

Hudson Trolley will be available for tour rides on Saturday, June 29. The trolley will bring visitors to each garden site.

Hudson Independent Business Association will assist with the tour ticketing.

With the cooperation of the St. Croix Historical Society the Garden Tour will again feature the incredible gardens of the historic Octagon House.

Tickets will be available on the days of the tour at the Octagon House. On Saturday only, trolley and tour tickets combined can be reserved by phone to Hudson Trolley at 651-324-4075.

Bobbi Pominville is the general chairman for the Artful Garden Tour 2019.
