Members of RiverTown Multimedia Group publications are invited to attend our Coffee and Connections event 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, at the St. James Hotel, 406 Main St. in Red Wing, in the Summit Room.
As you know, the RiverTown Multimedia Group recently placed its content behind a paywall, asking our digital readers to pay for unlimited access to content the same way our print subscribers always have.
This new digital membership model is about adding value even beyond content to those who support the work we do. One way we’d like to add value is by hosting community events only available to our members. And we’re doing just that in the near future.
On Dec. 11, RiverTown Multimedia will host its first member event from 2-4 p.m. at the St. James Hotel, where members are invited to enjoy refreshments and food, win prizes and visit with our team about the work we do, the stories you’re interested in and more. It also provides an opportunity to ask questions of our staff and receive help registering or activating your existing digital membership, to access rivertowns.net on any device.
If you are a member, please register for the event at rivertownscoffeeandconnect.eventbrite.com.
This event will be the first in a series of gatherings held in the coming year to show our appreciation for and build connections with our members.
The media industry has changed dramatically over the years, and it will continue to evolve for years to come. We’re changing with it because we believe in the power of bringing stories to our communities.
Where we once offered subscriptions exclusively to our print or e-edition of our news products, we’re now offering comprehensive memberships that each come with unlimited digital access to content from newspapers across a four-state area. In addition to digital access, personalized newsletters, alerts and member discounts and events also come with a membership.
We want to do more for our members. And that’s something that won’t change.
We hope to see you on Dec. 11 where you can tell us about the perks of membership that would matter the most to you.
Door prizes and gift certificates from the following local merchants will be given away at the event.
- Christmas Door hanger, plants and gift card from Sargent’s Nursery, plus Christmas ornaments from the Holiday Stroll (over $150 in value)
