NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT AND REZONING
1190 COUNTY ROAD 47
Notice is hereby given that the Hastings City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 6, 2020 beginning at 7:00 pm in the City Council Chambers of Hastings City Hall, 101 East 4th Street to consider the following actions as requested by Mint Development Co on property owned by Patrick Schmitt located at 1190 County Road 47:
1)Comprehensive Plan Amendment to change the future land use designation of the 2040 Plan from Low Density Residential to High Density Residence
2)Rezone property from A - Agriculture to R-4 High Density Residence.
The property is generally located north of County Road 47 and Riverwood Drive and legally described as the East Half of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Township 33, Section 115, Range 17, Dakota County, Minnesota located north of County Road 47.
Mint Development plans to construct a 120 unit senior housing facility on the site. Mint Development will also be holding a separate neighborhood meeting to discuss development plans beginning at 5:30pm on March 4, 2020 at the Hastings Golf Club located at 2015 Westview Drive.
PLEASE NOTE - The City Council Chambers (along with all City buildings) are currently closed to the public in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The City Council Meeting will be held remotely and televised on Hastings Community Television (www.hastingstv.org.) The public is encouraged to provide comments prior to the meeting via email at email@example.com. or by telephone (651) 480-2378. All comments received prior to the meeting will be presented during the public hearing portion of the meeting and made part of the record. Further detail on how to view and participate in the public meeting will be posted on the City's website.
