NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
VACATION OF EASEMENT
Notice is hereby given that the City of Hastings City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 6, 2020 beginning at 7:00 pm in the City Council Chambers of Hastings City Hall, 101 East 4th Street to consider a request by the City of Hastings to vacate the drainage and utility easement between two vacant City owned lots along Lightbourn Court, legally described as follows:
A 20 foot drainage and utility easement centered on the joint property line of Lots 11 and 12, Block 2, HASTINGS INDUSTRIAL PARK NO. 7, legally describe as follows: Commencing at the southeastern corner of said Lot 11; thence South 89 degrees 37 minutes 39 seconds West along said joint property line to the Lightbourn Court right-of-way and thence terminating; except for the most eastern ten feet and most western ten feet thereof.
PLEASE NOTE - The City Council Chambers (along with all City buildings) are currently closed to the public in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The City Council Meeting will be held remotely and televised on Hastings Community Television (www.hastingstv.org.) The public is encouraged to provide comments prior to the meeting via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. or by telephone (651) 480-2378. All comments received prior to the meeting will be presented during the public hearing portion of the meeting and made part of the record. Further detail on how to view and participate in the public meeting will be posted on the City's website.
