Hunter Magnus and Luke Jannusch, both fifth graders at Hudson Prairie Elementary, participated in Hudson Heroes, a program supported by the Kiwanis Club of Greater Hudson.

Their project was to assist Coco's Heart Dog Rescue with their needs. They were able to raise $300 in cash and gift cards, as well as collect various items which the organization needs to help them rescue and foster dogs. These dogs are later put up for adoption. The boys were mentored by Paul and Bette Vandersteen of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Hudson.
