The River Falls Community Foundation offers grants to eligible non-profit organizations for programs and projects in the areas of education, human services, youth, the environment and civic programs. Eligible programs must meet a specific need in the River Falls area and have clear goals and measurement indicators for progress.
"We welcome all non-profit organizations serving River Falls to apply for a grant within our priority areas. Together, we can keep River Falls strong," said Melissa Kolb, Chair of the River Falls Community Foundation.
The grant application deadline is Aug. 16.
The total grant amount available is $5,000. Typically, four to five nonprofit organizations each year have received a share of total available funding, at various levels, during the summer grant cycle.
Priority is given to grants focusing on education, human services, youth, the environment and civic programs.
Both general operating and project funding grant requests will be considered.
