She and her band from the north woods were so popular with audiences at the Ellsworth Cheese Curd Festival in 2010, they have been invited back.

Tammy Phillips is the leader of "Tammy and the Bad Boy Friends," a multi-talented group of performers who will lead off Saturday night's entertainment the 10th Annual Cheese Curd "Cheezy Rider" Festival.

This highly polished and professional group covers a variety of country and rock favorites with a focus on danceable, up tempo numbers from all the hit makers like Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Pink and many more.

They combine outstanding musicianship and a healthy sense of good clean fun.

Last year, Tammy and her band had everyone dancing in the aisles. It is the type of performance the whole family will love.

The best part is admission is free.

The festival is presented by the Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce with support from the Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery, General Beer, Helmer Publications, American Family Insurance, Bank Mutual, Village of Ellsworth, Rivertowns Newspaper Group, Broz Bar and the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

The proceeds of this year's festival will go to support "Building a Better Community" in Ellsworth.
