Kimberly Hennings is the director of the Friday Memorial Library in New Richmond

As your family prepares for back-to-school, we're releasing a new tool to help make reading on the go easier than ever. Meet Libby, the innovative and fun new app for reading ebooks and audiobooks. Libby is designed to get library users reading quickly, anytime and anywhere, in just one tap.

Libby has streamlined the reading app experience and was recently released from OverDrive, our library system's ebook and audiobook provider. The user-friendly app is available for Android, iOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod touch) and Windows 10 devices. The classic OverDrive app, which has some features not yet part of Libby, is still available too, so don't fret if you can't get Libby on your device or you prefer the classic OverDrive app.

Libby is fast, fun and friendly. We are happy to be able to point our users to an app that's easy to use and thoughtfully designed. Libby makes the searching and downloading process much easier.

We love Libby because:

• Readers are one tap away from the library, their bookshelf and their next great read

• You can download ebooks and audiobooks for offline reading, or stream them to save space

• You can sign in to multiple libraries, with one or more cards for each library

• Kindle® users can send library ebooks to their device.
