Four days of workshops for all - students, seniors and community residents - will be conducted by We Are the Willows during their Red Wing residency.
Band members, who have experience as educators, have developed activities that promote participation in music and the arts and encourage self-expression and exploration.
Although the album that inspired the residency evokes nostalgia, songwriter Peter Miller stressed the importance of "reflecting on the past to shed light on the present or the future."
Sessions area aimed at "connecting the dots," he said. "We are all connected."
