MIAMI - Green Bay Packers' quarterback Aaron Rodgers says his bosses have some tough personnel decisions to make this spring. But he hopes the team will keep many of its 13 restricted and un-restricted free agents.
Rodgers was interviewed yesterday at the Pro Bowl in Miami, where he'll be the starting quarterback for the NFC against the AFC All-Stars on Sunday night.
He says he'd like to keep as much of the team's core together as possible. And as long as that happens, Rodgers says he believes in coach Mike McCarthy and the direction he's taking the Packers. The Packers have been negotiating with nose tackle Ryan Pickett, one of the unrestricted free agents. Reports indicate the team has not started talks with any of its other free agents yet.
