Grant puts local schools in front of phy ed, fitness

Ellsworth school officials will now do likewise to realize not only a fit student population, but an entire community.

White Physical Education Program (PEP) grant, one of only 10 public schools in the state and one of 460-plus applicants nationwide to receive this award. "We spent all of the in-service last week talking about physical education and fitness," Graber said Friday, indicating the entire faculty is preparing for the program to be fully operational by the fourth quarter.
