HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Pewaukee native Mark Wilson is tied for sixth after the first day of the PGA's Heritage golf tournament at Hilton Head Island in South Carolina.
Seventeen players did not finish their first rounds yesterday due to a rain delay of over two hours. But Wilson and the state's other two players completed their first 18 holes.
Wilson shot a five-under-par 66, which puts him two strokes behind first-place Garrett Willis. Jerry Kelly of Madison is tied for 15th at three-under-68. Appleton native J.P. Hayes is tied for 41st at minus-one.
