CHARLOTTE - Matt Kenseth of Cambridge will start in the No. 2 position tomorrow night in NASCAR's Bank-of-America 500 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

It's the fifth-of-10 events in the season-ending Chase for the Sprint Cup, and Kenseth is fifth in the Chase standings. Tony Stewart won the pole for the Charlotte race last night, by just six-thousandths-of-a-second over Kenseth. Stewart turned in a lap at 191-point-959 miles an hour. It's the first pole for Stewart in 26 attempts at Charlotte.

Paul Menard of Eau Claire will start seventh. And Travis Kvapil of Janesville will start 34th.
