SPARTA, Ken. - Jimmie Johnson has won the pole position for Sunday's Quaker State 400 in Kentucky. Kyle Busch starts second.
Sprint Cup points leader Matt Kenseth of Cambridge takes off in 20th, but Eau Claire's Paul Menard is a few rows ahead of him at 15th. Janesville's Travis Kvapil starts 34th.
He started on the pole and finished in front. Austin Dillon led 192 of 200 laps while taking last night's Feed the Children 300 at Kentucky Speedway. The win lets Dillon take over the top spot in the Nationwide Series points race, too. Beloit native Danica Patrick finished in 12th place. She was the only driver with a Wisconsin connection in the field.
