A Mazeppa man is accused of forcing his way into a Pine Island trailer home Sunday evening and striking a man inside with a baseball bat.

Nathan Deblois, 37, allegedly entered the residence and used the bat to break items inside. Deblois also allegedly struck a man in the residence. He was not seriously injured.

The man and a friend were able to wrestle the bat from Deblois and force him out of the trailer, authorities said.

Deblois was arrested without incident at his home in Mazeppa at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday. He's facing second-degree burglary and second-degree assault charges. Bail has been set at $2,500, and his next court appearance is May 14.
