To the Editor:

Wednesday afternoon, I, along with over 100 friends of Sally Setzer, attended a farewell retirement reception to honor her years of dedication to the Red Wing Public Library.

We gathered not only to attest to her library career but to honor her genuine humanity and her always-inspiring spirit. Sally has the enviable ability to make everyone in her presence feel special.

The Red Wing Public Library staff and her peers within the Red Wing city administration will miss her inspiring presence. I personally have had the great honor to have been associated with her as a participant on the Library Board for a number of years, and it is with great humility that I say that she is one of the most beautiful people I, or anyone, will ever have the opportunity to know.

We all wish Sally God speed in her days away from her library responsibilities.
