Betty LaRae Felton, 84, Cannon Falls, died Thursday at the Cannon Falls Clinic. Born Nov. 14, 1923, in Minneapolis to Anthony and Lillian (Johnson) Kostakos, she graduated from Edison High School in northeast Minneapolis and later attended the Minneapolis Business School. She worked for Northrup King, where she managed the addressograph department. On July 27, 1946, she married Harold C. Felton at Concordia Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. 

She held numerous jobs, including Josten's in Owatonna, Minn., and in-state government in Juneau, Alaska. She was involved in women's groups at the Lutheran churches they attended. In 1995, she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's.

Survivors include her husband, Harold of Cannon Falls; one brother, Richard Anthony of Salano Beach, Calif.; nieces, nephews and several in-laws. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Marion Smith, DeEtta Rogers and Evanthia Hardy; and one brother, Ronald Anthony.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Randolph, Minn., with the Rev. Steven Schwartz officiating. A spring burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Randolph.
