Mary "Jo" Truttman, 59, of Red Wing, died Sunday at her home. Born July 20, 1948, in Red Wing to Donnie and Marian (Johnson) Gardas, she graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1966. On Sept. 21, 1968, she married Steve Truttman. They lived in rural Ellsworth until 1978 when they moved to Trenton Island. She worked many years for Mary's Supper Club until it burned down in 1987. After that she worked at Jostens and Norwood Promotional Products. In 2000 they moved to Red Wing. She was a member of United Lutheran Church. She enjoyed camping, boating and Elvis.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Steve; two daughters, Stacy (Steve) Wood and Mandi (Bruce Cleveland) Gadient, both of Red Wing; mother, Marian Gardas of Red Wing; sister, Roxi (Reggie) Berg of Red Wing and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Donnie Gardas.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at United Lutheran Church with the Rev. Steve Timm officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Honorary pallbearers will be Mills, Vanessa and Mason Wood, Tucker and Jackson Gadient and Bradley Gutting. Memorials preferred to Fairview Red Wing Hospice.
