Annual membership meeting
The Red Wing Area Seniors, Inc., hosts their annual membership meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday Oct. 29 at Provensano's Ristorante. Seating is limited, call the center if you plan to attend.
Living with and managing arthritis
Retired geriatric nurse practitioner Mary Doucette will talk about arthritis 10 a.m. Tuesday Oct. 30. Most people in the aging process experience arthritis and the painful decrease in function that occurs. This discussion approaches the management including medications, use of heat or ice and the importance of exercise.
Are you good with numbers? Become a tax volunteer. You'll work directly with taxpayers - filling out tax returns and helping them seek a refund. Experience isn't necessary. You'll learn the latest tax preparation forms and software. Training starts in January. Call the center to sign up.
Men's coffee group
What's on your mind gentlemen? Join in for morning coffee served up with interesting conversation and friendship 10 a.m. every Tuesday. All are welcome, bring a friend. If you need a ride call Faith in Action at 651-385-3290.
Lessons are offered at the Senior Center. Times can be arranged at your convenience. No prior experience necessary.

Join Active Older Adults
Get fit and stay healthy. Join in at the YMCA at 9 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. The class includes low-impact aerobics, strength training and stretching. Cost $30 for 20 sessions for non-YMCA members.
Quilter Kristen Dickinson has given the Senior Center a quilt she created to be raffled off. Purchase your ticket now for $1. The winner will be chosen Thursday Nov. 15.
