Kenneth (Pat) Chilton, age 81 of Forest Lake, formerly of St. Paul Park, passed away on April 4, 2009.
Kenneth was born May 1, 1927, in Mahnomen, Minn. and raised in Mahnomen on the White Earth Indian Reservation. On May 20, 1950, he was united in marriage with Elsie Krumrie. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cribbage, cards and dancing. He was a World War II veteran and a member of American Legion Post 98 and the V.F.W. He was preceded in death by wife Elsie. Pat is the loving father of Doug (Rhonda), Roxanne, Darrell (Shelley), Renee (Greg) Novalany, Dale (Julie), Rebecca; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service is at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 8 at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Avenue, St. Paul Park, (651) 459-2875. Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday with a 7 p.m. Legion Ritual and 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association.
