RiverTown Multimedia captured aerial video before and after the recent flood event to document the extent of rising water on the Mississippi River.
The before footage was from March 21, 2019, while the after footage was from Monday morning, April 1.
The Mississippi River at Prescott crested at 37.99 feet early Monday, according to data reported to the National Weather Service. The river level was 37.19 feet and dropping as of Thursday morning, April 4.
The river crested at 19.49 feet Sunday evening at Lock and Dam No. 2 near Hastings, where flood stage is 15 feet.
