SOUTH WASHINGTON COUNTY - The CE Skoolie bus has been on the streets all summer for weeknight No Kid Hungry events.

The events are coordinated by the South Washington County School District and Second Harvest Heartland as part of their No Kid Hungry pilot program aimed at fighting child hunger.

Games, free meals and activities come with the bus.

SoWashCo Cares Director Cheryl Jogger said most stops average between about 30 to 50 people, though it depends on each stop. The Royal Oaks Elementary School visit had over 100 attendees.

The stops will continue until Aug. 23.

The schedule for the coming week is:

• Monday, July 30: 5-7 p.m. at Royal Oaks Elementary, 7335 Steepleview Rd., Woodbury

• Tuesday, July 31: 4-6 p.m. at Newport Lutheran Church, 900 15th St., Newport

• Wednesday, Aug. 1: 5-7 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 920 Holley Ave., St. Paul Park

• Thursday, Aug. 2: 4-6 p.m. at Armstrong Elementary, 8855 Inwood Ave., Cottage Grove
