World famous aerobatic pilot John Mohr will again be the featured performer during Airshow 2006 June 24 and 25 at the New Richmond Regional Airport.

Mohr, flying his stock 220 horsepower Stearman biplane, dazzled the crowd at last year's show with his death-defying maneuvers and low-level antics over Hatfield Lake.

Mohr, who is also an airline captain, is in his 30th year of performing at air shows around the world. With more than 25,000 flight hours, he is one of the most exciting and respected performers on the air show circuit. More information and photos are available on his Web site, mohrbarnstorming.com.

Also performing will be "Flying Irishman" Joe Dooley and Pete Tallarita in their Pitts Special biplanes, Daryl Masmon in his high performance monoplane and Bob Post in his Pitts.

Visitors will also get to see a B-25 bomber and four T-6 Texan military trainers from the World War II period, as well as several antique and corporate aircraft based at the airport. Three unique helicopters will also be on hand: a Blackhawk, the POW Huey from the Vietnam era and the Life Link III helicopter ambulance that is based at the airport.

Other attractions include a portable aviation museum, a Commemorative Air Force PX display and a full motion simulator available for rides.

Further information is available on the airport Web site, nrairport.com.
