Local builder Landsted Companies has been recognized with a 10th Reggie Award. The winning house this year is a 4,060-square-foot cottage-style home with four bedrooms and three and a half baths. It is located on a 1.3-acre lot in the Hills of Troy subdivision, eight miles southeast of Hudson.

Featured in the home are a Juliet balcony in the master bedroom suite, a wine cellar, hybrid heat, a workshop and spacious front entry porch.

The Reggie construction award is given by the Builders Association of the Twin Cities each October to about 40 builders whose homes are displayed in the Parade of Homes Fall Showcase. The homes are judged for design and construction quality and value by their peers. The association was founded in 1957 to promote a higher level of professionalism in the Twin Cities building industry. The Reggie Award was conceived 39 years ago with the onset of the Parade of Homes.

Landsted's newest winner features interior design by House Calls Fine Interiors and Cabinetry. The firm, located in downtown Hudson, offers residential and commercial interior finishes, products and installation.

The energy-efficient home, which is for sale, also features hybrid heat, spray foam insulation, sealed ductwork, R-50 attic insulation, 2-by-6 exterior walls and Energy Star appliances. Landsted Companies has earned the Reggie Award for the following homes:
