The closing reception for the Annual Area High School Art Exhibition is Sunday, April 29, from 2 to 4 p.m. at The Phipps Center for the Arts, 109 Locust St.

A program to include comments from this year's judge, artist Susan Armington, and the announcement of the recipient of the sixth annual Alice M. Stolpe Scholarship for the Arts, begins at 3 p.m. in The Galleries.

Featured are works by 244 students and 14 art teachers from 13 area high schools, Amery, Eau Claire Memorial, Eau Claire North, Ellsworth, Henry Sibley, Hudson, Prescott, River Falls, Somerset, St. Croix Central, St. Croix Falls, Stillwater and Woodbury.

The Galleries hours are 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday, noon-4:30 p.m. Sunday, as well as one hour before and through intermission of all performances in The Phipps theaters.
