Tom Zeuli, parks and public works director for the City of Hudson, recently completed the requirements of the Wisconsin Community Tree Management Institute (CTMI), an innovative program that helps municipal employees to develop effective urban forestry program leadership and management skills. The Community Tree Management Institute was sponsored and developed by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources with assistance from University of Wisconsin-Extension, UW-Stevens Point, and the cities of Madison, Richland Center and Stevens Point. Zeuli, left, received his certificate from Chief State Forester Paul DeLong.
