A motorcycle operated by Billy J. Hinrichs, 51, of Menomonie collided with a deer on Hwy. 35 just north of the village of North Hudson on Tuesday night, Oct. 12.
Patrol Captain Scott Knudson of the St. Croix County Sheriff's Department said Hinrichs received non-life-threatening injuries and was taken by St. Croix EMS ambulance to Hudson Hospital.
Hinrichs reportedly was headed north when the deer ran into the path of his 2007 Suzuki motorcycle. The accident was reported at 8:48 p.m.
It brought a response from the Hudson Fire Department in addition to St. Croix EMS and law enforcement officers.
