The Farm Service Agency's (FSA) Rural Youth Loan Program may be the answer to financial needs.
For students between ages 10 and 20, the program funds many kinds of income-producing projects such as livestock and crop production, lawn and garden services, repair shops and roadside produce stands.
Youths may be eligible for a loan for up to $5,000 to establish and operate their own income-producing project in connection with participation in FFA, 4-H or similar organizations.
Loans may used to buy livestock, equipment and supplies; buy, rent, or repair needed tools and equipment; or pay operating expenses.
Learn more about the loans by visiting the St. Croix County USDA/Farm Service Agency Office or by calling (715) 684-2874, ext. 2.
