The University of Wisconsin men's golf team finished second at the VCU shootout in Richmond, Va.
The Badgers were tied for first place after the first day of the shootout, but lost the lead to Penn State on the final round.
Fifteen teams were competing in the event.
The Badgers shot a collective two-under-par on the final day to finish at 16-under for the tournament. That was three strokes behind Penn State.
Dan Woltman was the highest-ranked Wisconsin golfer individually. He finished tied for fourth.
