Sometime before dawn on Monday, there was a robbery at the Department of Motor Vehicles office in Hudson.

Hudson Police Department Chief Marty Jensen said that a computer and printer used to make driver's licenses were stolen along with some blank license cards.

A cabinet was damaged to get at the equipment. Nothing else was taken and there was no other property damage. Jensen said entry was gained through what appears to be an open door. There were no signs of forced entry.

Jensen said that the computer did not contain any personal information. The office was closed Monday for the Martin Luther King holiday.

Investigators were on the scene for most of the day. Jensen said they do not have any leads or suspects at this time.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hudson Police Department at (715)386-4771.
