A River Falls man was killed Monday in a southeastern Minnesota motorcycle crash.
The Minnesota State Patrol said 75-year-old David J. Adamek was riding north of Caledonia, Minn., on July 16 when he failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the road and struck a guardrail. He was thrown from the crash.
The crash, reported at 11:32 a.m., occurred on Highway 76 in Houston County. Troopers reported Adamek, riding a 1995 Harley-Davidson Dyna Glide, was wearing full leather protective gear and a helmet with a face shield.
Alcohol was not involved, according to troopers, who noted that road conditions were dry at the time.
