Pierce County sheriff's blotter: Computer crime reported; Cattle in the roadway
Deputies found and arrested a man with a felony warrant at 8:21 p.m. June 25 at 368 W. Main St., Ellsworth. The man, an Ellsworth resident, was arrested on suspicion of methamphetamine possession and felony bail jumping.
Computer crime reported
A computer crime was reported June 26 at a River Falls home. A man said his email service had been shut down. Information was gathered.
A deputy on patrol at 10:40 p.m. June 26 stopped a vehicle for no rear lights. The driver, a Red Wing man, was cited for operating while revoked (alcohol-related) and failure to install ignition interlock device.
A deputy on patrol at 12:04 a.m. June 27 encountered four black cattle in the roadway at 320th Avenue and 650th Street in Ellsworth. The cattle appeared to make their way back to a pasture.
Sexual abuse reported
Human services officials from Eau Claire County reported a sexual abuse allegation June 27 that occurred at a Pierce County home.
An Ellsworth resident reported a possibly disorderly person June 27. The complainant said a contractor made threatening statements to him. The complainant did not seek to pursue charges.
A Maple Street resident in Bay City reported June 27 that a neighbor yelled at her 5-year-old daughter and squeezed her hand so hard it hurt. Deputies gathered information from all involved.
