River Falls police: Damage to property; Storage unit burglary
Damage to property
• At 4:50 p.m. July 18, a woman reported that her vehicle had been damaged by a rock while she was driving northbound on Main Street between County Road FF and East Cemetery Road. The woman reported there was no vehicle in front of her or around her to kick up a rock. She said she saw someone running on the west side of the road. The rock caused a "relatively large scratch" on the windshield.
• At 9 a.m. Thursday, July 19 a resident of the 300 block of High Ridge Road reported a decorative bunny destroyed. The decoration had allegedly been removed from a front porch and thrown in the roadway where it shattered.
• At 11:10 a.m. Saturday, July 21, items were reported missing from a residence in the 600 block of Grove Street, including sunglasses, ties and power tools
• On Monday, July 23, a woman reported her wallet stolen from her car. The wallet contained her Social Security card and $350 in cash.
On July 22, a woman reported the lock on her storage unit at River Falls Mini Storage had been cut, so that it can be slipped off easily and replaced so it looks secure. The woman reported a double bag of Kingsford charcoal missing from her unit. She reported that other storage units in the same storage facility had been similarly cut.
