On Friday, Dec. 21, 37 students from Hudson High School traveled to the Twin Cities German Immersion School in St. Paul.
This was the fifth year Hudson students have had the opportunity to work with TCGIS students. The Hudson students visited children in kindergarten, first and second grades. They read German children's books aloud to the students, worked on reading and writing activities and worked on an arts and crafts snowman project together.
Speaking about her personal highlight from the day, HHS senior Anna Thielke said "I loved being able to speak German with younger students. It was really rewarding for me to be able to apply the German skills that I have worked so hard to acquire."
