The Hudson FFA chapter participated in the 2019 Wisconsin Envirothon on Friday, April 12 at the Wisconsin Lions Camp in Rosholt. For the competition, we presented our own original solution for a specific environmental scenario; this year, we played the roles of dairy farmer and local soil, agricultural technology, and water experts working together in order to reduce nonpoint source pollution and blue green algae blooms.

We also needed to study for several natural resources tests that assessed us on real-life skills like measuring tree height or identifying animal tracks. It was a great educational experience for us and maybe a little different than what most people think about FFA.
